My Top 10 Favorite Purchases of 2022

This is an end of the year round up definitely worth reading! A mix of fashion, beauty, cooking and home decor, this Top 10 list accurately sums up my likes, taste, and most definitely, my personality.

Call me nosy, but I love to read other bloggers “top ten” lists. Whether it’s a compilation of favorite movies, books, lipsticks, or places to visit, the list-lover inside me does a little happy dance when I read these countdowns. So, I thought it would be fun to share with you all my top ten purchases of 2022. These are all items I love and use a lot! It was difficult to choose only ten because I consider myself a savvy shopper so almost all my purchases are purposeful and intentional. Notice the word “almost”because those impulse buys are crazy fun too! My list is in no particular order; it would be impossible for me to pick a #1 favorite item. So without further ado, here are my top 10 favorite purchases of the year.

Amazon Matching Knit Sweater Suit Set

I purchased this matching set on Amazon Prime Day and have worn it at least once a week since. I soon bought myself a second one in another color and I am gifting it to a number of family and friends for Christmas this year. I have a size XS because I like tighter fitting joggers. This material is so soft, cozy, and doesn’t stretch out. Just be sure to wash it in cold water and hang it to dry so the material doesn’t pill. Buy now.

Eve Cocktail Coupe Glasses from CB2

This year I was on a cocktail kick for French 75’s and this textured coupe glass was the perfect blend of modern and Art Deco that I needed for such a nostalgic drink. These elegant glasses look way more expensive than $7.95 a piece and I love that they are dishwasher safe. It’s such an easy way to elevate the look of a cocktail and makes for a perfect fancy dessert or parfait bowl. Buy Now

Black Matte Terracotta Vase from Kirklands

This year, I was on a mission to find an oversized vase to decorate my kitchen island. Something that I could use year-round and just switch out the vase filler. I fell in love with this ceramic one from Pottery Barn but not the $99 price tag. After a quick search on the internet, I found this almost exact one at Kirklands for half the price. I styled it with faux citrus stems for summer, burgundy autumn leaves for fall and flocked pine branches and pinecones for winter. Each arrangement looked beautiful and it was the exact decor aesthetic I was looking for. Buy Now

Apple Watch Bands from Strawberry Avocados

My love for these Strawberry Avocado Apple Watch bands borders on obsession. I love how easy they are to switch out and instantly accessorize your outfit. Plus the styles are so pretty and the company comes out with new designs regularly. Confession time: I actually have 6 different watchbands. I told you…borderline obsession, ha. Kabuki Makeup Brush

I added this foundation brush to my makeup routine this year and am so glad I made the switch. I even wrote this blog post about why a kabuki brush was such a game changer for my makeup application. Basically, the thick dense bristle head helps to give a flawless airbrushed look to your foundation. So, no more streaks, lines, or uneven application. Buy Now

Vintage Havana Low Top Sneakers

Every fashionista needs a pair of “fancy sneakers” in her closet. Ones that can be worn with jeans, joggers, shorts, sun dresses, leather pants, trousers….well, basically everything. They are the perfect blend of casual chic (my go-to style) and are super comfy as well. In fact, I wore out my first pair and new ones are on my Christmas list to Santa this year. Buy Now

AquaVault Charge Card

No, not that kind of charge card. This ultra-thin wallet sized card actually charges your phone so you can avoid that dreaded low battery stage. It has built in charging cables so you don’t have to carry them with you. I love the sleek design that fits in my pockets and smallest of purses. It is definitely a travel essential! Buy Now

Half Baked Harvest Cookbook

I’m not sure who is more happy that I got this cookbook this year. Me (who has loved exploring and making these delicious new recipes) or my family (who has gotten to eat said delicious new recipes). Either way, it’s a win-win. I have made 25+ recipes from this book alone and all but 2 have been phenomenal. Besides having great recipes, the photography is exquisite and inspires you to step in the kitchen and start cooking right away. Buy Now

Cracked Pepper Wall Paint by Behr

I tackled a few home decor projects this year and one of them was painting an accent wall in our hallway. I wanted a big bold color to fill up this big bold wall and decided to go with black. I immediately fell in love with this Cracked Pepper color from Behr and am currently debating which wall (or room) to paint black next.

One Shoulder Color Block Swimsuit

This one piece, one shoulder wonder was the perfect bathing suit for all our beach vacation adventures this year. From Miami to Belize, this color block suit was as chic and flattering as it was functional. At first, I was concerned the white would be see through when wet but it was lined very well. I ordered a size small; it fit but the torso was a little long. If you are between sizes, I would definitely size down. Buy Now

Like I said, a fun Top Ten mix of fashion, food and style. You’ll have to tell me if this inspired you to make a top ten list. Or which 2022 purchase you liked best!
