This classic vodka cocktail is full of bright, fresh grapefruit flavor and a sweet savory taste from the rosemary infused simple syrup.
Rosemary Greyhound Cocktail
- 2 Ounces Vodka
- 5 Ounces Grapefruit juice
- 1/2 Teaspoon Rosemary Infused Simple Syrup
- 1 Sprig Fresh rosemary
- Pour vodka, grapefruit juice, and syrup over ice. Stir well. Garnish with a rosemary sprig.
To make the Rosemary Infused Simple Syrup:
- Mix 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water to a small saucepan.
- Add a large handful of fresh rosemary to water.
- Over medium heat, stir the water, sugar, and rosemary until the sugar has completely dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Strain the liquid mixture into a small jar.
The syrup will keep for 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
