Proscuitto Wrapped Melon
- 1 Cantalope (Cut into 1 inch cubes)
- 6 ounces Proscuitto (Sliced into 1/2 inch strips)
- Fresh basil leaves (Cut or torn into bite size pieces )
- Balsamic vinegar (Optional)
- Place 1 basil leaf piece on top of a cantaloupe cube.
- Wrap one slice of Proscuitto tightly around the basil and cantalope. Repeat with the remaining melon cubes.
- Drizzle with balsamic vinegar (optional) and serve.
Wine Pairing:
A light and fruity Prosecco or a dry Rosé would pair well with all the flavors in this appetizer.
