Buying a special and meaningful Valentine’s Day gift for my husband is always a struggle. Each year, I rack my brain trying to find a present to show my utmost love and devotion. And fall up short. You see, my husband has very few material wants and needs. Things that he does want, he buys for himself, at the time that he needs them.
So what is a girl supposed to give her man for Valentine’s Day when he does not want or need anything?
I made this simple, yet meaningful and romantic, Valentine’s Day gift for my husband. It was a huge hit; sentimental but not sappy, creative but not over the top, budget-friendly, and personalized just for my guy. This is the best Valentine’s Day present for the man that has it all.
How To Make It
You will need:
- 1 package of pink Post-It Notes
- a black sharpie marker
- 28-30 reasons why you love, or what you love, about your man
Some fun suggestions:
- I love how you make me laugh
- You look super hot in your jeans
- I love how hard you work for our family
- You are a great cook
- I love how you make me coffee in the morning
- I love when you give me back rubs
- You are a great kisser
- You have a cute butt
Be creative and make these as romantic, silly, or as fun as you want.
How to Make
Before Valentine’s Day, write out 28-30 different reasons why you love your man onto the pink Post-It notes. On Valentine’s Day morning, wake up before he does and arrange the Post-It’s in a heart formation onto his bathroom mirror.
THAT’S IT!
When your man wakes up Valentines morning and walks into the bathroom to get ready, he will be greeted by a pink Post-It heart full of love and affirmation. What a great way for him to start the day!
For an extra gift add-on, place a bottle of his favorite liquor, beer, cologne or BBQ sauce with a bag of chocolates under the Post-It heart. You will blow his mind.
