Is anyone else excited that Thanksgiving is this month? Besides all the cooking and food preparation, one of my favorite things to do for holiday dinners and parties is to decorate my dining table. I choose a simple theme and let that dictate my centerpiece, place settings, place cards, and other table top accents. Not only is a set and decorated table a welcoming gesture for my guests, it makes my house look more festive and takes one item off the “to-do” list for meal time preparation. Here are 4 beautiful and simple Thanksgiving table scape inspirations (plus the shopping links to re-create them) that will look stunningly gorgeous in any dining room.
The Look:
Monochromatic Chic
This elegant table setting has beautiful neutral tones accented with sparkly gold flatware. Though not in this picture, I thought chic gold accented glassware would fit great in this theme. Be sure to add a pop of color and a bit nature to this table scape by using a garland or swag of eucalyptus.

The Look:
Rustic Glam
This table setting captures the feel and look of a rustic and outdoorsy meal but with all the comforts of fine dining. Warm earth tones mixed with bold flannel plaid make a beautiful color palette. The textures of this table scape steal the show; pine cones, moss, and even faux antlers. I thought wood patterned chargers would be a good addition to each plate and I would also change out the gold goblets for copper Moscow mule mugs.

Moss Table Runner, $16.99

The Look:
Elegant Farmhouse
The new take on Farmhouse style (out with the traditional red colors, roosters, and weather vanes and in with neutrals, textures, and natural accents) is so inspiring. I could not decide on one “look” for this table scape and instead blended a few ideas together to make a table setting that encompasses the elegance and natural look of the new Farmhouse style.

A Fun & Festive Table for the Kids
You can not have a proper holiday meal without a fun and festive area for the kids. Whether it is a designated dining table or just an area on the side of the room, it is important that the little ones have a place to play, be silly, be creative, and enjoy time with family. These simple ideas are fun, easy to do, and will make each child feel special and loved. Not included in the picture are some DIY napkin holders that are hysterical for kids and grown-ups alike. I made them 3 years ago at Thanksgiving and my guests took them home as favors because they thought they were so funny and cute.
