Is anyone else excited that Thanksgiving is this month? Besides all the cooking and food preparation, one of my favorite things to do for holiday dinners and parties is to decorate my dining table. I choose a simple theme and let that dictate my centerpiece, place settings, place cards, and other table top accents. Elegant Farmhouse

The new take on Farmhouse style (out with the traditional red colors, roosters, and weather vanes and in with neutrals, textures, and natural accents) is so inspiring. A Fun & Festive Table for the Kids

You can not have a proper holiday meal without a fun and festive area for the kids. Whether it is a designated dining table or just an area on the side of the room, it is important that the little ones have a place to play, be silly, be creative, and enjoy time with family. These simple ideas are fun, easy to do, and will make each child feel special and loved. Not included in the picture are some DIY napkin holders that are hysterical for kids and grown-ups alike. I made them 3 years ago at Thanksgiving and my guests took them home as favors because they thought they were so funny and cute.
