It has been over a week since Halloween and I feel I am still up to my eyeballs in trick or treat candy. Staring at these colorful wrappers and myriads of sweet flavors, I know there has to be some delicious way for me to use up these bite sized treats. And I am sure there are other people who want to quickly use up their candy as well. So after some clever thinking researching, and experimenting in the kitchen, I want to share my findings with you. Here are 4 awesome ways to re-purpose leftover Halloween candy.
1) Loaded Chocolate Banana Bites

Sweet Banana slices are dipped in melted chocolate then rolled in crushed candy bars. After chilling for 3 hours in the freezer, these Loaded Chocolate Banana Bites taste AMAZING! 2)Kitchen Sink Brownies

Upgrade the basic store bought brownie mix into something gourmet and out of this world. With a sharp knife, cut each piece of candy into half inch squares ( about 8 pieces of candy for a 9×9 inch pan). Add the chopped candy to the brownie batter and mix thoroughly. Pour the candy filled batter into the prepared pan and bake according to the package directions. This is recipe is a chocolate lovers dream!
