It’s official: joggers are a full fledge movement and are quickly gaining popularity over leggings. See how to style this pant to effortlessly take it from lounge to luxe.
I am a huge fan of jogger pants. To me, they are the perfect blend of casual, comfy, and chic. And they are way more forgiving than leggings. They are as versatile as a good pair of jeans; just more comfortable and they have an elastic waistband. Score! From sporty to edgy, casual to chic, these pants can do it all. In this post, I share four stylish ways to wear joggers. Each of these outfits are easy to recreate and customize to your personal fashion taste. And I promise there is a look for everyone.
Graphic Tee + Denim Jacket + Sneakers + Joggers
This is my favorite casual combination and I wear this style most often. I prefer to wear my graphic tees untucked when I pair them with this cropped denim jacket. I think the lines look better on my body type.
Bodysuit + Blazer + Furry Mules + Joggers
Bodysuits and joggers are a match made in heaven. The tight fitting and always tucked-in look of the bodysuit looks clean and put together with high-waisted joggers. A fitted blazer instantly makes this outfit office-ready. Add a mule or loafer for a fancier vibe or keep it casual by wearing a pair of sneakers.
Denim Button Down + Platform Sneakers + Joggers
A classic denim or chambray button down shirt is a must have for any women’s closet. Wear this mens-wear inspired shirt half-tucked or front tucked into the jogger. Or tie it at the waist like I did for a more fitted look. I paired this outfit with platform sneakers to make it edgy.
Sweater + Booties + Joggers
This sweater and jogger combo screams ultimate comfort. Just be sure to wear a sweater that isn’t too bulky. You want your outfit to have a defined silhouette. I really like this monochromatic look; it gives the illusion I am wearing a jump suit and it has clean lines. Ankle booties are an easy way to glam up a jogger pant.
A couple of key points for styling joggers:
- Fabric – Joggers come in a variety of fabrics. Like with any outfit, the fabric plays a huge part in determining whether it is fancy or not. Keep this in mind when you are styling your outfit.
- Shoes – I prefer the look of joggers with sneakers or shoes with a low heel. Save your stilettos and high heeled fancy boots or booties for a different outfit.
