How to Make Strawberry Frose

Strawberry Frosé

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bottle rosé
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries* halved and hulled
  • 1/2 cup Vodka
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions
 

  • Pour rosé in a large gallon size ziploc bag and put in the freezer for 4-6 hours (or overnight).
  • In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool.
  • In a blender, puree the sugar water, starwberries, and vodka.
  • Add rosé slush and ice to the blender.
  • Blend the mixture well and serve. Use a fresh strawberry and lemon peel as garnish.

Notes

This recipe can be made up to 2 hours in advance.  Just do not add the rosé slush and ice to the blender until you are ready to serve.
*substitute thawed frozen strawberries if you don't have fresh or 2 cups of any other frozen fruit.
